So I'll share a little story. Before the morena skin empowerment here in the Philippines, there were so many beauty products out there that had been marketed (and is still being marketed up to this day) to be 'instant whitening' or 'instant fair skin' and so on. When I was in high school, my mom would buy some of these products and let us try this on. I remember her telling us, "Put this product on your face and neck so it'll be whiter and blemish-free!" Because I was still naive back then, I did what I was told and the very next thing is, I look like that ghost in The Grudge movie! *screams in horror* And folks, that is how I decided not to purchase instant white creams.  Or maybe not. The thing is ever since I started my new skincare routine (read full blog here ), I have been experimenting with a lot of no-foundation makeup tutorials online. It's a tough call to forego foundation since it has been a staple on my makeup kit for the last two years

If I were to choose between makeup and skincare (which is a very hard decision to make), of course I would still choose skincare. Why? Because no amount of makeup can cover up bad skin and I want to put makeup on my face with a smooth finish.  Plus, we all want to achieve that no makeup makeup look, right? 😉 Though I have been a skincare fanatic since I was 21, I only read the back ingredients and articles backed by science in forming my own skincare routine.
